1. Subjective Pronouns are the subjects of a sentence:
I, YOU, HE, SHE, IT, WE, THEY
Example of subjective pronouns.

b. You like to have many pen pals.
Kamu suka mempunyai banyak sahabat pena.
c. He studies in an elementary school.
Dia belajar di sekolah dasar.
d. She will get married.
Dia akan menikah.
e. We love Indonesia.
Kami/Kita cinta Indonesia.
f. They need attention.
Mereka butuh perhatian.
g. It barks when it is happy.
Dia menggonggong ketika dia senang.
2. Objective Pronouns are the objects of a sentence:
ME, HIM, HER, IT, US, THEM, YOU
Example of objective pronouns.
a. I know Caroline. She introduced me to you via e-mail.
Saya kenal Caroline. Dia memperkenalkan saya kepadamu lewat e-mail.
b. My brother is an elementary school student. Sometimes I accompany him to go to school.
Saudara laki-laki saya adalah seorang siswa sekolah dasar. Kadang-kadang saya menemaninya pergi ke sekolah.
c. My sister is a good student. Her campus gave her scholarship.
Saudara perempuan saya adalah seorang siswa yang baik. Kampusnya memberikannya beasiswa.
d. We love animals. Last week our neighbour gave us a funny kitten.
Kami suka binatang. Minggu lalu tetangga kami memberikan kami seekor anak kucing yang lucu.
e. They run the family business seriously. customers like them very much.
Mereka menjalankan bisnis keluarga dengan serius. Pelanggan sangat menyukai mereka.
f. The fur of the cat is soft. We like to stroke it.

3. Possessive Adjectives are words that indicate possession. Possessive adjectives are used with nouns.
MY, YOUR, HER, HIS, OUR, THEIR, ITS
Example of possessive adjectives.
a. I have pan pal. My pen pal is very kind.
Saya mempunyai sahabat pena. Sahabat penaku sangat baik.
b. You have three dogs. Your dogs need a lot of attention.
Kamu/kalian mempunyai tiga ekor anjing. Anjing mu/kalian butuh banyak perhatian.
c. He studies in an elementary school. His school is not far.
Dia belajar di SD. Sekolahnya tidak jauh.
d. She loves reading books. Her books are in that cupboard.
Dia suka membaca buku. Buku-bukunya di lemari itu.
e. We run the business together. Our business is good.
Kami menjalankan bisnis bersama. Bisnis kami bagus.
f. They frequently come here. This park is their favorite place.
Mereka sering datang kesini. Taman ini adalah tempat favorit mereka.
g. The kitten is funny. Its tail moves fast when it's happy.
Anak kucing itu lucu. Ekornya bergerak cepat ketika dia senang.
4. Possessive Pronouns also show possession but possessive pronouns are not followed by nouns.

Example of possessive pronouns.

Ini buku saya. Buku ini milik saya.
b These are your dogs. These dogs are yours.
Ini anjing mu. Anjing ini milik mu.
c. His school is far from here. His is far.
Sekolahnya jauh dari sini. Sekolahnya jauh.
d. Her book is interesting. Hers is interesting.
Bukunya menarik. Bukunya menarik.
e. Their family business is good. Theirs is good.
Bisnis keluarga mereka bagus. Bisnis mereka bagus.
f. Our plan has many alternatives. Ours has many alternatives.
